Every Wednesday Mams Music Gallery introduce different producers to its readers and this week Klaas Thoka introduce Amapiano / Broken producer De Sbu.
There is no dance without music. Music is the only thing that “when it hits you, you feel no pain,” says Lady Zamar. Without a producer there is no music and without music there is very little soul healer in a human spirit.
This week we have a producer from Mamelodi East, De Sbu, who is known for his broken and amapiano songs over the past couple of years.
MOTIVATION FOR PRODUCING?
What motivated me to produce music was that I fell in love with the concept of making my own tracks and making people dance to my tracks. I started producing around 2016.
PART OR FULL TIME JOB?
It is a full time job. I hardly get a chance to chill with my friends because I got to perfect my style of music.
FIVE ARTISTS YOU WORKED WITH?
I have worked with Vine Musiq, Senzo SkyBoy, King Tee Tshiamo and Ultra Deep. I am very proud of each and every one of them.
SONGS YOU HAVE PRODUCED?
ONE WORD ABOUT YOU WORK?
I can describe my production as original and finding a word to describe my experience as a producer is hard because I have been through a lot to find my own signature style that will make my fans love my music. So I would say I am a versatile producer.
